We have lots of found items on the table in the foyer. Please take a look or remind your child to look for any missing coats, mittens, hats, etc. During February vacation any item not claimed and without a name in it will be donated to The Community Closet in Berwick.

We hope everyone has a safe and fun winter break. School will resume Tuesday, January 3rd.

The annual Hussey School holiday “Yard Sale” will be held again this year on December 13th, 14th and 15th. The yard sale will provide your child with an opportunity to shop for low cost items for 5 family members, friends or themselves for the holidays. The items will range in price from $.25 to $5.00, with most items being in the $.50 to $1.00 range. You may send money in with your child on December 13th, it is recommended to put money in a sealed envelope or sandwich bag.

Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Thursday, 11/17/2011. If you wish to have your child’s school pictures redone, please return the ENTIRE original picture packet by photo retake day.
Students who were absent on the original picture day will have their photos taken on this day for school files. If you wish to purchase a school picture package, please let your child’s teacher know so an order form may be sent home with your child. COMPLETED FORMS AND PAYMENT must be received by picture day.

Thank you to everyone who recently donated to the fourth grade candy drive. The fourth grade students planned and promoted a collection of candy to send to troops that are currently serving in Afghanistan. After the generous donations by the Hussey School community, we collected approximately 188 pounds of candy! The candy has been packed with thank you cards and will be shipped overseas with the generous help of the Cape Neddick VFW.
